A Prayer Labyrinth You might find it helpful to ‘walk’ the labyrinth by tracing it with your finger as you pray. You can download this image and print it at home by clicking on the pdf download file below. ![]()

Here are 4 suggestions to help you use a Prayer Labyrinth
1) Ask God a question as you enter the path. Then, as you trace your finger slowly through the twists and turns, listen for an answer. Let your silence invite the presence and guidance of God.
2) Start your journey with confession (you may want to imagine leaving your sins behind you at the entrance to the labyrinth. You could put them in a bin or load them into a bag and then leave the bag on the floor as your finger takes you into the labyrinth). When you reach the centre say thank you for all the good things in your life. As you trace your way back out through the labyrinth imagine yourself picking up the gifts/fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5.22) or putting on the armour of God (Ephesians 6.10-20). Pause at the exit, reflect and give thanks.
3) Recite a breath prayer as you trace your finger through the labyrinth, perhaps praying a different prayer on each section of the labyrinth. You might find some useful breath prayers here https://www.prayerideas.org/how-to-pray-using-breath-prayers-or-sentence-prayers/ Alternatively use sentences or phrases from the Bible that mean something to you.
4) Put down your worries/burdens as you trace your finger to the centre of the labyrinth (perhaps you could imagine putting down pebbles along the way as symbols of your worries or cares). In the centre, pause to thank God for taking your burdens on himself (1 Peter 5:7). Then count your blessings and give thanks as you trace your finger back to the exit.
