Family Praise
Family Praise is our monthly service of worship for all the family, with hymns, songs and activities for all ages. It is held at 10.00 am on the first Sunday in the month and lasts for about 45 minutes. Music is provided by the Music Group and the children are encouraged to join in with lively songs.
It often includes a welcome into the church for those who have been recently baptised and their families.
There are different themes each month and these are then followed up at Messy Church, the following Sunday.

Family Communion is a shorter monthly communion service for all the family. It is held at 10.00 am on the third Sunday in the month and lasts for about 45 minutes. Music is provided by the Junior Choir.

First Steps:
This is our group for pre-school children and their carers. We have a wonderful group of helpers who do a great job making everyone, both children and carers, feel welcome and cared for. We welcome children from birth to school-age. We meet in St Michael’s Church, once a month on a Monday morning, from 10am to 11.30am. Our sessions begin with play and chat. Children have the chance to do a craft activity and colouring, linked to the Bible story we are having that month. After refreshments, which include home-made cake, we have a Bible story and some songs before we finish with a prayer.

Messy Church:
We hold Messy Church once a month in St Michael’s Church, on the second Sunday afternoon in the month from 4.30 to 5.45pm. This timing suits families, as the children finish with tea and then are ready to go home to bed! Sessions include a range of crafts, linked to the theme of that session. This is then followed by a story, songs and prayers before tea. This is very popular with all ages from quite young toddlers to upper primary youngsters. |
CHURCH SEARCH - An activity for all ages
