REMEMBERING
This page was updated on 9th January 2024
Many people feel the need to remember their loved ones who have died in some sort of formal setting, and both St, Michael’s and St John’s allow opportunities for this. At both churches, each year on the Sunday closest to All Souls Day on November 1st, we hold a service of remembrance when the names of those who have died can be read out and a candle can be lit in remembrance.
At St. Michael’s there is also the opportunity, each week in the main service, to light a candle for prayer or remembrance. Alternatively, you can light a virtual candle, as you remember those who have died. |
BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE
In addition, names can be added to a Book of Remembrance that is on display in St Michael's Church. If this is of interest, please fill in the form and return it to the Parish Office. FLOODLIGHTING St Michael's Church can be floodlit in remembrance of a loved one or on a special occasion - please contact the parish office for further details. |
